Matt joined Coe Equipment in 2018 as the Southeastern Missouri Territory Manager. He attended the University of Missouri – St. Louis. Prior to joining Coe Equipment, Matt has worked in the sales industry for over 10 years. Matt currently lives in St. Charles, MO with his wife and their two boys. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, rooting for the Blues, Cardinals, and for whoever the Blackhawks and Cubs are playing that night!

Northern Illinois & Missouri
Steve comes to us with 15 years of experience in sales and customer service including 5 years selling water treatment chemicals to the municipal sector. Previously a restauranteur, Steve is part owner of Bistro 101 in Canton, IL. Occasionally, you can still find him helping out on a weekend night tending bar or serving tables. He lives in Canton with his wife, Samantha, and his two children, Lylah and Harrison. If he gets free time, he enjoys golfing with his wife and is looking forward to when his children are old enough to join them on the course.

Chuck joined Coe Equipment in 2018 as our Operations Manager. Chuck brings with him 20 years of management experience, with 15 of those years focused on business operations. He currently resides in Sherman, IL with his wife Jessica and their four children. In his free time, Chuck enjoys spending time with family, participating in outdoor activities, and playing guitar.

Customer Service Manager
Scott joined Coe Equipment in 2014 as the Southeastern and Southern Illinois Territory Manager, and was promoted to Customer Service Manager in 2018. Prior to joining Coe Equipment, Scott spent 11 years in municipal customer service and sales focused on water treatment, industrial process water treatment, and field service for water treatment systems. In his free time, Scott enjoys spending time with his wife and business partner, Courtney, and their 3 kids. They like to swim, hike, bike, ski, and row.

Marty started working for Vactor (Myers-Sherman Co.) in 1973 as a demonstrator, driver, and operator trainer. In 1977 he left Vactor and joined Jack Dohney Supplier. Then in 1986, Marty and his wife Debby started Coe Equipment. As a mechanic and a teacher, Marty’s goal has always been to provide our customers with the best quality equipment while ensuring its continued operation through top-notch service. Over the years, Marty has become a revered expert in the industry sharing his knowledge and expertise with our valued customers. While the equipment has continued to evolve, Marty’s customer focus and attention to detail remain the same. These days Marty can still be found working out in the shop or helping customers talk through an equipment issue or find the right tool for a challenging job. Our customers know if they ever need help, Marty is just a quick call away.

Lead Service Technician
Dave joined our service team in 1998. Dave has over 30 years of experience as a mechanic, and creates a strong foundation for our service team. He lives in Mt. Auburn, IL with his wife and son. In his free time Dave enjoys hunting and fishing.

Liam joined our service team in 2019. Prior to joining Coe Equipment, Liam attended Lincoln Land Community College, completing the Airframe and Powerplant Aviation Mechanics program. Liam currently lives in Springfield, IL. In his free time, Liam enjoys fishing, shooting, and bonfires with friends.

Meet Our Operations Team
We know getting the right parts and accessories quickly helps keep your crew productive. Our operations team works hard to ensure you get the parts you need as quickly as possible so your crew can get back on the job. We also know having the best training is important for optimal performance and safety. We can help you select the best Vactor classes, and register your crew for training. Our goal is to make sure you have whatever support you need to be successful with any job.
Courtney grew up at the shop in Berry, riding her bike around the trucks and up and down the loading dock, helping fill parts orders in the summers, working in the office, and even tagging along on a service call here and there. She joined our team permanently in 2009, working remotely from Colorado, and moving to Illinois with Scott in 2014. Prior to their move, she spent time guiding outdoor adventure excursions in Yellowstone and the Rocky Mountains, and working in banking and wealth management. You may see her in these days in the office, in the warehouse, or just helping out whoever needs a hand. Courtney enjoys spending time with Scott, their three little monsters, Fiona, Dash, and Leila, and their dogs, Baxter and Otter. She loves boating, snow and water skiing, hiking, crafting, yoga, and just being outdoors with her family.

David grew up in Greene County, IL near the Illinois River. He worked at a small family-owned ag-related tire shop for over 18 years with over 10 of those years managing the business. He lives with his wife Erin, 2 boys, and their dog in Auburn, IL. He enjoys spending time with his family and the great outdoors. He and his family recently purchased a small farm where they can’t wait to have some livestock and a garden. David strives to keep learning about all our products and to dig deep into all aspects of the needs of his customers to take care of them in a timely manner, with the mentality to take care of them the way he would expect to be taken care of when doing business. “Treat me fair, be knowledgeable, and take pride in your work.”

Kayla joined Coe Equipment in January 2021 as the Accounts Specialist. She has several years of experience in similar roles. Kayla and her husband Kyle live in Taylorville with their three kids, Alexus, Kylie, and Oliver, and their dog, Bo. In their free time, they can be found at their lake lot on Lake Taylorville. Kayla also enjoys bowling with her team and going golfing with Kyle.

Liz joined Coe Equipment in 2021 and provides marketing and social media management for the company and sales team. She brings nearly 20 years of experience in communications and a can-do attitude.
